DBRS Publishes Updated Airline and Railway Industry Methodologies

DBRS published updated versions of its corporate methodologies titled “Rating Companies in the Airline Industry” and “Rating Companies in the Railway Industry.” DBRS has conducted a periodic review of “Rating Companies in the Airline Industry” and “Rating Companies in the Railway Industry.” These updates supersede previous versions published in January 2018, and are effective as of January 24, 2019.

Changes include only small edits for clarification. DBRS deems the updates not to be material and has determined that no ratings are expected to change as a result of these updates.

DBRS notes that the above press release was amended on March 22, 2019, to add a sentence about the periodic review. The amendment was minor and would not impact the understanding of the reader.
