DBRS Closes Request for Comments on Oil & Gas and Oilfield Services Industries Methodology

DBRS Ratings Limited (DBRS) released its “Rating Companies in the Oil and Gas and Oilfield Services Industries” methodology (the Methodology) after the closure of a public request for comments (RFC) period that ended on April 26, 2018, per the press release “DBRS Requests Comments on Oil & Gas and Oilfield Services Methodology,” dated March 26, 2018.

DBRS received no comments on the Methodology during the RFC period; therefore, the Methodology published on August 23, 2017, remains effective.

DBRS publishes on its website any comments received except in cases where confidentiality is requested by the respondent.
