DBRS Publishes Updated Methodology for Grain Companies

DBRS has today released its updated methodology for rating grain companies. The publication of this methodology is part of DBRS’s continued effort to provide market participants with insights into the rationale behind DBRS’s rating opinions.

In addition to general business and financial risk considerations, the methodology reviews a number of rating considerations specific to the industry, including supply and demand, regulation, commodity pricing and weather.

DBRS has taken no rating actions as a result of this updated methodology.
